I’ve always enjoyed taking pictures whenever we would go to family functions, but I didn’t realize photography as a passion until my fifth year of university when I retired from football.
After that, my world opened up to so many new avenues that I’m always ready to explore. It started with taking pictures on the sidelines of all the different sports at the University of Ottawa. From there it branched off into a couple boudoir shoots with close friends. Then getting noticed on instagram by a soon-to-be mother wanting to pay me for a newborn shoot, and things took off from there.
I wanted to turn this hobby I was passionate about, into a business and get more exposure; so that’s what I did. I designed this website, made business cards and since then, I’ve done shoots for private portraits, newborns, company Christmas parties, music videos, editing other peoples’ photos, and so much more in the works including headshots, a car show, and a wedding in the fall.
I am always looking for new and exciting projects to work on and I make sure that new clients who may not be completely comfortable in front of the camera are comfortable and have a good time while shooting.
The thing I love most about my photography, is the feeling when I see the faces and the reactions of the people I am photographing. Being able to show someone, not necessarily how they see themselves, but how the rest of the world sees them. Watching their faces light up in disbelief and seeing their confidence grow, is an incredible experience, and a service that I am honoured to be able to provide for them.
